About the Founders

Roderick & Chaun Pinkston

Roderick and Chaun Pinkston are more than business owners—they are builders of people, purpose, and possibility.

Their journey began in 1997, not in a commercial space, but in the garage of their very first home in Atlanta, Georgia. With limited resources but an unwavering commitment to excellence, they began serving customers one car at a time. What started as a humble operation quickly grew through word-of-mouth, trust, and consistent quality—so much so that they were soon forced to expand into a standalone shop to meet demand.

For Roderick, automotive repair is more than a trade—it’s a lifelong calling. He began working on cars at just 16 years old, and over the past 40 years, he has developed deep expertise in both automotive and collision repair. His passion for custom paint and bodywork has not only fueled his creativity but also earned him top awards at car shows, where his craftsmanship has been recognized at the highest levels. Yet, beyond the accolades, Roderick’s greatest fulfillment has always come from serving people—restoring not just vehicles, but confidence, safety, and trust.

Chaun brings a powerful and complementary strength to their work through her background in customer service, shop management, and training and development. With a heart for people and a gift for organization and leadership, she has played a vital role in shaping the customer experience, building systems, and developing others within the business. Her passion lies in helping individuals grow—professionally and personally—ensuring that every interaction reflects excellence, care, and integrity.

In 2024, the Pinkstons relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina, where they established their namesake business. After successfully building and selling that venture, they made a bold and purpose-driven decision: to shift their focus toward training the next generation of automotive and collision repair technicians.

Today, while continuing to operate Peak Customs and Collision in the heart of Charlotte, they are pouring their knowledge, experience, and values into developing future professionals. Their mission is clear—to open doors, create opportunities, and transform lives through skilled trades.

At their core, the Pinkstons believe this work is about far more than cars. It’s about legacy. It’s about service. It’s about equipping people with the tools they need to build sustainable futures.

No matter where you come from or what your background may be, their heart is simple: to see you grow, succeed, and step confidently into your purpose.
